Re: No reparations without revolution.

'ownership' of land is a somewhat foreign concept to traditional/indigenous/communal societies of the world but to reinstate such ideas ownership by the people(communally) must be reinstated, rather than ownership by a private few(capitalism) of a central government(capitalism and some forms of so called socialism). You might want to check into Anarchist sociealism as probably the closest political description to the traditional view.

When it comes to comparisons with what has happened to the Native Amerikkkans...that cannot happen in Africa. The population has not been descamated in the same way. The people that are fighting for the return of their ancestral homelands(like the Massai) are going after the most productive land(now owned/controlled by European colonial-settlers) not just 'any' land. Also the Native Amerikkkanliberation organizations like WAR(Women of All Red Nations)also recognize that they are not YET a liberated people. They are still oppressed and exploited, like many other indigenous peoples. Hence I think we must remind ourselves that reparations are a step on the path, but not the final destination.

You are correct that the 'forgiving of debt' is a somewhat ridiculous notion, especially when the reason the Western powers have wealth to 'lend'(at least that is what the IMF and WOrld Bank like to call their form of economic share cropping) in the first place is because of the Capital and exploited labour they gained from under global colonialism and slavery. Like others have posted, the 'debt forgiveness' should really be that, PLUS a return of all the wealth that was robbed, raped, and kidnapped by these pirates. But that is a demand that won't be met until after we are liberated.
