Re: The Queen of Sheba
In Response To: Re: The Queen of Sheba ()

hail brothers and sistahs,
NB, even if the Kebra story reamains a fact and is indeed true it still would not reflect current reality. the power of the corporate media and israeli money says that the only legetimate and true jew of torah are those who descended upon the so called middle east and Palestinian territory and usurped the land from places such as germany, spain, italy, russia etc . etc., even the ethiopian hebrews were treated as second class citizens in israel upon their arrival in modern israel and they have been keeping torah undisturbed or uninfluenced by rabbinical judaism for millenia. do ones actually feel they can aspire to the hebrew mantel and birthright by just taking on names and titles and expect the greater world to view them as the "real" hebrews of torah and bible? in light of the grievous crimes perpetrated by israel aginst Palestine , Lebanon and the surrounding Muslim nations why would any konshus Afrikan even want to be a jew or associate with the symbols and trappings thereof such as the star of david etc. etc. ???? do ones think muslims will overs the star of david displayed on clothing and amulets worn by Rasta people if ever ones should be amongst them and not be viewed as the enemy? do Rasta expect the world to recognize Rastafari as the hebrew of YAHVE or does the world follow what corporate media tells them and informs them to believe? are some still waiting at the bus stop of salvation for a blast from the sky to set all things right?
