I don't know where you got your figures from, BUT THIS IS 2006 - and MOST BLACK AMERICANS - PARTICULARLY DARKSKINNED BLACKS WHO RECOGNIZE (DUE TO THE MASSIVE TREND IN TRACING ANCESTRY AND GENETIC TESTING) ARE MOR PROUD THAN EVER OF BEING BLACK/DARK-SKINNED AND SAYING, "I HAVE NO RAPE BLOOD."

Actually, I was made aware of that 'secret' feeling among most darkskinned Blacks in the US back in 1982 while attending college in California (Los Angeles City College, Film School, Vermont Ave, Hollywood, California).

Of course back in the late 1960's to the mid 1970's, the BLACK POWER AND BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL MOVMENT SEWED THE SEEDS AMONG THE VAST MAJORITY OF BLACKS TOWARDS BLACK SELF-ACCEPTANCE.

What has happened is that a few Negroes have gotten with white women and created a few 'mixed' (multiracial, bi-racial) children (less than 1 percent of Blacks in the US) since the early 1970's. IT IS THAT GROUP OF BLACKS WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY THIER WHITE PARENT (USUALLY A WHITE WOMAN) to hate their Black side and actually to hate Black people in general. THIS IS ONE OF THE EVIL RESULTS OF INTERRACIAL DATING, MARRIAGE AND SEX.

To make matters worse - A HOLLYWOOD MEDIA (WHERE I WORKED AND SCHOOLED) is purposely Promoting a very tiny, chosen group of very lightskinned Black actors, actresses and powerful people to stand as the standard for all Black Americans. So, when you look at news, tv, movies, music videos - you see the very same actors and actresses being represented by the JUDAS-TRAITORS' MEDIA as 'beautiful.' For example, Byonce and such people as Hale Berry are presented as 'beautiful' by a Judas-traitors media that BELIEVE THEY CAN BRAINWASH TODAY'S GENERATION TO ACCEPT LIGHT SKIN, MIXED PEOPLE AS THE STANDARD.

Now on the other side, IF YOU TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE RESPONSE, WHAT DO YOU SEE -- A STRONG REACTION TO THE GLORIFICATION OF 'mixture' and lightskinnedness among PURE BLACK/DARKSKINNED PEOPLE AS WELL AS SOME VERY CONSCIOUS LIGHTSKINNED BLACKS WHO SEE THE TRICKERY BEHIND THIS RACIST SCHEME BEING PUSHED BY (GUESS WHAT, PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT REALLY 'WHITE' OR 'ANGLO-SAXON' BUT PEOPLE OF SEMITIC AND MIXED EUROPEAN BACKGROUNDS -EASTERN EUROPEANS, ECT.).

They are everywhere on the internet, starting threads like 'dark skin vs light skin,' or working in the movie business hiring lightskinned people for jobs in movies.

OR THEY ARE DISTORTING HISTORY BY HAVING TWO WHITE ACTORS PLAY THE PART OF THE TWO BLACK POLICEMEN AND THE BLACK SOLDIER (MARINE) WHO RESCUED MANY PEOPLE DURING THE TRAGEDY THAT HAPPENED IN NEW YORK ON 9-11. IMAGINE THAT!!

These weazels are so RACIST that they did not have the decency to let Black actors play the role of two Black policemen and a Black soldier who were the great heroes on 9-11. So, when you watch U.S. MOVIES, TV, VIDEOS - keep in mind that the same MOVIE PROUCERS WHO MAKE MOVIES LIKE 9-11 are the same people who are presenting a false image of Blacks in America - WHO ARE TRYING TO PUSH 'MONGRELIZATION' ON BLACKS TO DILUTE BLACK RACIAL STRENGTH AND POLITICAL POWER BY PROMOTING THE 'MULTIRACIAL' GROUPS - WHO BY THE WAY, BEGAN THIS 'REDBONE' 'BIRACIAL' 'MULTIRACIAL' BOASTING AND IDENTIFICATION PUSHED BY THE WHITE (USUALLY FEMALE) PARENT, AND USED AS IDENTIFICAITON BY THE 1 PERCENT MIXED, IS PUSHED BY THEM AND NOT BY PURE BLACK PEOPLE.

In fact, it is pure Black people (Negroid features, brown to black complections, African/Black consciousness) who reject this new trend as DIVISIVE AND FULL OF TRICKS.

Finally, while the destroyers and distorters of the hip-hop movement have promoted 'lightskinned' people as more acceptable to whites, Blacks in that same movement who are PURE BLACK and Black oriented have added to the love of self and taking us as we are, paradigm.

The last time Black people rejected attempts to brainwash us with conq greece, hair curlers, skin lightening creams (IN THE US) was the sixties. Since then and MOST BLACKS REJECT THESE ATTEMPTS AT PLASTICITY AND FALSENESS.

And so, the SSystem of racism/white supremacy and greed has recognized that the more Negroes/Blacks they have rejecting their Blackness/Africanness, the more hair greece, skin lightening creams, false 'beauty' products, hair straighteners they will sell.

Fortunately, today's generation are also saying 'KEEP IT REAL,' AND KEEPING IT REAL TO MOST BLACKS MEAN 'KEEPING IT PURE BLACK, OR AS AFRICAN AS POSSIBLE.'

Is there any doubt now why dreadlocks, cornrows and African consciousness is booming in Black America?

It is because Blacks are fed up of being pruned and prodded to appease and to suit the likings of other races. Black people by a very large majority accept ourselves as we are - including those of us who are a bit lightskinned. WE RECOGNIZE THE AFRICAN ROOT AND WE KNOW THAT IN AMERICA IT IS HAVING THE AFRICAN/BLACK ROOT THAT CAUSES SO MUCH ENVY AND JEALOUSY OF BLACK PEOPLE. Our aim and our duty is to MAKE BEING BLACK AND BEING AFRICAN OR AFRICAN DESCENT A GLORIOUS CHARACTERISTIC. That will happen because after years of being fooled, many people are learning the truth.
