Who is contorting now. Tell me where you have seen me post about dark skin people downpressing light skin people?
Get your facts straight please. I asked disciple to give me an example of light skin people downpressing dark skin people. He responded with the "paper bag test."
But, I will let that slide because I know you couldnt possibly be trying to distort anything. You have too much integrity for that.
I actually agreed that SYSTEMATICALLY, lighter skin is prefered over darker skin.
I said that we should reject colorism because it is a white supremist/willie lynch construct. We should not perpetuate it. I feel the same way about us calling each other 'niggas'
I dont think black leaders should be chosen by their skin color because blackness is not merely a skin shade. Physically, black people come in a variety of shades. So any variety is fine as long as they are promoting Afrikan for the Afrikans.
We have to look at the ideas, thoughts and actions of the person because as it was pointed out, movements last forever while a 'leader' doesnt.
If ones dont want to accept how I sight it, then so be it.
I stand firm still.
Peace
