what about the "social construct" of race? when Selassie spoke of "until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior" - he was speaking as a figurehead of a pan-African organization which represented peoples(Africans) who have historically been exploited based on the social constructions of race. Selassie was speaking as one with others who were suffering the same racist downpression based on the Eurocentric social construction of race.
