Fire trucks were not delayed. The head of the fire department personally ordered his men to NOT FIGHT THE FIRE. People including children who tried to flee from the house were mowed down with automatic weapons fire. Only Ramona Africa and then-13-year-old Birdie Africa managed to escape.

Ramona is certainly a powerful speaker, as are other MOVE people. If you wanted to bring a speaker to your area, you'd just have to raise the travelling expenses.
