"Who is the most destructive person?
-the one who claims grasping their inner/self/truth
or
-the one who tells you that it CANNOT be done "
I would not describe obstruction as destructive. In fact, obstruction may be the very thing that spurs a person to go beyond what had been percieved as the limits of what is possible. And, as I stated before, there are two parts to being held back : One may obstruct, but it is up to you if you accept thier obstruction. The ultimate responsibility for what you achieve lies in your hands.
It should also be noted that the most important aspect of seeking knowledge is the acceptance of possible failure. Without that acceptance, one will never transcend one's inbuilt sense of limitations. Yes. We all have an inbuilt sense of limitatons, it is what some call a 'survival instinct'. Most times, this voice is absolutely right. Some times though, it is something else that seeks to decieve us by using it's tones. When we accept the possibilty of utter failure, our 'survival instinct' modifies it's tone and when it does this, it becomes harder to fake.
In other words, developing a comprehensive knowledge of the ways this instinct operates within oneself is vital. Once one has this knowledge, mere fear can be differentiated from prudence.
Finally, from your answer, I see that you are unable to describe the taste of water. Would you like me to describe it to you?
Wisdom and Strength.
