This should not be a problem, in fact, I would say that once you have identified one as a 'placer of limits', then you can stop viewing such a person as a teacher. Control is a two way affair: one plays the rhythm, the other dances. We are free to refuse.

To my overstanding, the word 'absolute', when applied to a thing, implies an all-encompassing nature. Nothing is left out. So, indulge me while I examine the implications of your words. Because, when you say "no matter what we see, it is absolute truth..", you are implying that all lies are also true. If so, then why is there any conflict? Why do we speak of injustice if all things are equally valid? If everything is a manisfestation of 'absolute' truth, then neo-nazis are as justified in thier desires as you or I. The pirate or the rapist have committed no crimes, they are only manifesting another aspect of 'absolute' truth.

Now, here is the rub; I am not saying that you are 'absolutely' wrong, just that I think the context in which you are presenting this matter is leaving great holes for the ones you call 'limiters of potential' to drive through.

We can argue over issues to do with doctrine and orientation, but when it comes to matters of the spirit, each person can only express what they KNOW.

I was also taught that it is not everything that the eyes see that the mouth should (or can) speak of. In matters of this nature, the best way to proceed is by using what you know to progress YOUR Self. We are not all at the same level and we may not all reach the same level. The heights that we achieve is not reliant on the numbers who are in agreement with us. Because our achievements in matters like this will always be strictly personal, our deepest strivings will also be strictly personal.
