I am directing this question to everybody who has concerned themselves with this topic.
Would it be racist for a Rastafarian Zimbabwean with a name like Masimba Musodza to establish himself as a brilliant composer of classical orchestral pieces? Or as a singer, surpassing the Pavarottis? Or even doing wonders in Noh theatre? I've no such ambitions, of course, it is just a hypothetical question.
