The point is not his right to express himself. The point is that he has been instantly catapaulted to fame and fortune while artists who have been struggling for decades and who created a lot of the styles, lyrical patterns etc. that dominate the market today, receive no recognition or financial recompense.
I wouldn't deny that eminem had some modicum of talent (when he first came out anyway). But he was instantly given opportunities and doors were opened for him that remain forever closed to the REAL CREATORS AND INNOVATORS OF THE MUSIC.
