But should we be bothered a white Jew is doing reggae? Chris Blackwell, the man who brought reggae to mainstream audiences in the West is Jewish. Sean Paul is Jewish. I don't know much about RAS Records founder, but I would not be surprised if he was Jewish as well. Def Jam Recordings is aslo Jewish.
I was only a matter of time before someone decided to emerge from the actual business of reggae music to taking up the microphone.
When I first saw the video, I thought the whole synagogue service gear was a bit incongruous. But if that is how the man wants to express himself, by all means.
