and I give thanks for your efforts at clarifying this issue.
I would suggest that the point of contention here may well relate to how poeple view the meaning of what truth is.
There would seem to be a view of truth as 'facts', verifiable aspects of the nature of the universe, such as those you have nominated, and another of truth as being a transendant underlying principle that may well unify or be the foundation of these facts.
One of these 'truths' will obviously be easier to apprehend than the other.
or perhaps I am once again misunderstanding things.
