You claim that Eja insulted you and certainly he may believe that you attempted to insult him. I also felt that you attempted to disrespect him, so he was right to take a firm position with you (that is just my view).
Before I give my response to this line:
"I would think that honesty begins with the realization that no one, but Jah alone is in possession of ultimate truth."
What do you actually mean by Jah?
