Re: Women still face discrimination in the workpla

Addressing how females are treated in the system is a legitimate endeavour. However, most of such research is conducted by white females who neglect to address the dimensions of race and color. Without the dimensions of race and color factored in, discussion about gender discrimination both within and outside of the workplace, is sterile. It is only by understanding who experiences the worst, that justice can be done.

Western societies like to think of themselves as being the place of 'liberated females' and 'gender equality'. While it is easy to throw around empty words and phrases change does not come so easily.
