Modern Humans and Neanderthals shared a common ancestor, this makes them at least cousins. The overall nature and appearance of modern humans, however, took a different developmental path. The spirit and physiognomy of the warm adapted cousins developed in accordance with nature, the cold adapted cousins did not; thus when the two finally encountered eachother outside the garden of Eden, one creature was on its way toward extinction, having exhausted its food supply and probably contributing to the demise of its environment. The nature of fire having already been understood at the Homo Erectus level.
hmmmm? Is anyone sensing the origins of another Semitic myth? The one that pits Angels against Humans. The first born against the second son?
