Re: First Kill the Language, Then the Culture

Well, it would seem as if the Finns and the people of the Baltic states inhabited a wider area of what is called Europe before the migration and conquest of the Germanic Tribes.
Hungarian, Finns, Lapps and the Baltics all speak languages beloning to the Turko Altaic group; which is related to Tartar and Turkic. In other words, they were more widely spread throughout Europe. The Russains(Russ) were vasseles of the Tartars upon till the middle of the Twelve hundreds of the prior millennium. I think they also ruled Poland at one time, and Atillah the Hun went deep into Germany. Anglos called Germans Huns during W.W.2

I know that the Celts were allies with Hanibal of Carthage against Rome; and Spain was originally called Iberia Aethiopia. Now, the Iberians came originally from Africa. The amalgamation of both the Celt and Iberian population gave us the CeltIberians of Spain. The basque might be a remnant of the original inhabitants. I think we are yet to find some interesting answers in studying the relation and influence of Berber, Maltese and Punic on Spanish,Italian and French. Carthage had control of Southern Rome including Sicily and were allies with the Estrucians; an AfroMed people who taught the Romen the Cadmian Style Building Methodology before they were usurped, absorbed and conquerd by them.
