I do not have any particular use for polygamy and have not been known to practice it. I lived in Afrika for many, many years and I saw polygamous families that got on very well together. I didn't see a lot of jealousy but that does not mean it didn't go on... I just didn't see it. I've seen families ruined by polygamy as well. I have a "whatever works" attitude towards polygamy. If it works for one family, good. If not, try monogamy. The stigma attached to polygamous families is Eurocentric and hypocritcal, given the fact that "monogamous" white christians can't seem to keep from cheating and having affairs.
