Re: Writers Back African Languages
In Response To: Writers Back African Languages ()

PatriotWarrior, THANK YOU very much for this important topic!

The black peoples of Africa are probably the most endowed peoples on this planet, whose inventiveness seems to breed new variants of their language, and new cultural facets overnight. The black peoples of Africa own the biggest piece of land: from South Africa to southern Nigeria, to the Central African Republic, and parts of West Africa. This ownership is seconded only by the Chinese, then the Slavs, then those who own land under the W.A.S.P umbrella... The blacks of Africa cannot wake up to their outstanding identity and the advantages this gives as long as they stay brainwashed to make one "single language", when in fact black African cultures are a collection of hundreds of dissimilar ethnicities on account of tongues.

Anyone who knows African history, especially the Bantu history, know that there were very few occasions in this history when black Africans acted as divided entities. Differences arose, but the cause has nothing to do with a feeling of otherness, but to advantages of the nations of Europe for hundred years. These differences affected members of single families often, where a brother turned against his own brother in a war in favor of white invaders. These differences, a feeling of difference, as we know it today, were the exception, not the rule. It happens to be a rule in our time...

We all know how fast a language can develops in urban areas, and know that this formation can alter a traditional language as these words get adopted into the main language of the area. How justified would the colonizers be justified to prevent this new language on a people on account of hundred years of slavery, plundering and the rape perpetrated against Africa. This is precisely what the colonizers did to prevent black Africans from waking up to their oneness and redesigning the continent according to what WE deem as actual ethno-cultural divide.

We should break ties with the West and their bunch of white men. Our present generation will have our days to gloat in the sun, if this is how we want to be remembered. There is so much cultural identity, wealth, and advantages in Africa for us to be able to make it on our own.
