This is funny that you say let's not stop with KEMET and Ethiopia.
Many here dont even want you to high-light Kemet as part of Rastafari livity.
I sight what you are saying about Rasta not being limited to Ethiopia.
The word Ethiopia was used for all of Afrika once.
I think some Rasta have forgotten that and chosen to only focus on the new geographical boundaries emposed on Ethiopia/Afrika since the scramble for Afrika, and even before.
Rasta is from Iration so the whole of Afrika is definitely apart of Rasta.
Some wont agree about all black people and faiths being of Rasta because of the dogmatic religion that Rastafari has seemingly become for some.
