Re: To which I reply
In Response To: Re: To which I reply ()

You must have some serious connection problems with the various parts of your brain...

How can you say you haven't taken me out of context when you keep trying;

1. To portray me as someone who bullies his mother by witholding assistance. As it turns out, my mother does not need my assistance. I only brought that up to illustrate that some of the people who venture in to farming are not in a position to realise profit, and so why should I funnel money in to a project that would not likely bring in any returns when such money can be used elsewhere. It has nothing to do with getting my own way. However, because of some animosity you have towards me, you rejoice in taking me out of context, and even did a psychological profile of me.Someone has a lot of time on their hands, or someone is fascinated with me. God knows why.

2.You seem to forget that the person who I called a peasant had in fact called me a mulatto. You rejoice in your perception of my use of the term as proof of my sentiments towards this sector of the populace, neglecting to consider that this same logic brings in to relief Djehuti's perception of mulattoes. Of course I took offence at the term, it suggested to me some improper breeding. So yes, I hit back. Djehuti admitted that his remark had been uncalled for. And I consider the matter dropped.

A simple question Ayinde. Do you speak an African language? I don't see the point of trying to affect an air of moral, intellectual and cultural superiority when it comes to African matters when you cannot even speak the Pan-Afrikan languages, let alone something as local as ChiShona.

Yesterday, I met an Ethiopian couple. Straight away, the discussion switched to Amharic, which I have a passable command of. And what a potentially fruitful discussion it was, business cards exchanged. A few weeks back, I tried my Swahili on a Tanzanian chap, and established contacts in that great country. Speaking of which, you did not explain why you are bothered by the fact that I am trying to make money? Don't you think Africans need to make more money, in order to fund those projects dear to our hearts?

You need to lighten up, save the little dignity that's left. If there's any consolation, I am not really offended by the verbal diaorrhea that you make whenever you try to digest my words. After all, it's all just an assemblange of pixels. I do find you amusing though. And amazing.
