Re: Are We Afraid to Talk About The Ark Of Covenan

What the hell is anti-peasant? Please explain that one before we discuss it.

As for my claim to be of dynastic African royalty as you put it, I suppose you would have to travel to Zimbabwe and spend hours in the National Archives. You would have to go through Portuguese and Arab written records of the various nations travellers from these people saw in the land that we now call Zimbabwe. Then you would have to look at the Delineation Reports compiled by the Rhodesia Government with respect to genealogy. My paternal great-great-grandfather, from whose nickname my surname originates, is listed.

This information is yet to go online. This was some of the work that I had undertaken before I was forced by circumstances to leave my homeland. But family and clan leaders were aware of what I was doing, and encouraged me. My father, my uncles, all left me their own records, stuff that my grandfathers had asked them to put to paper. Of course, there are other ways of retrieving the information. The genealogiacl chart that I have in my computer is more personal- it is of my line of descent. I am, as the charts in the National Archives show a 13th great-grandson of Nohureka, the founder and first King (Mambo) of the Buja people of north-eastern Zimbabwe. Anyone who knows Zimbabwean history knows of Nohureka, and his mystical father-in-law, Dzivaguru, who had rain-making powers. I am also descended from the Rozvi etc, but in the distaff line.

I have nothing to gain from fabricating anything, so I really don't see what your problem is with me.

And yes, speaking an African language is important. I don't expect you to know ChiShona, but surely you are acquainted with such Pan-African languages as KiSwahili and Lingala? Hausa? Arabic? No?

This famous quote, I last saw it on a poster. I saw a copy in shop in Brixton a few months back so I'll go and have look when I can and get the date. I am surprised that you have never come across it before. Now, what would I possibly gain from it by inventing?

Sarcasm is fine, if it's part of your psyche. Attempts to malign by misinforming, misconstruing, characterisation and wild specualtion, well, one would expect better of you.
