The true Ark, the one mentioned in Exodus is the one in Ethiopia.
I do not have a copy of the Kebra Naghast with me at the moment, otherwise I would have quoted passages for elaboration.
To harness the power, my own personal view is that we have to make ourselves worthy of that power. Not just as a people, but as individuals. I advocate for the kind of piety that I have noted with concern is dismissed with contempt by some on this board.
I am not a Priest, Ras Marcus. I believe the Ark also dwells in the hearts of each and every one of us- yes, even evil men like Bush, Mugabe, Blair etc- and we have a choice in recognising this and manifesting this recognition. Just like we grow our hair long, and refuse to eat flesh etc.
Does this sound like religious blah-blah? I can still search for words to explain if it can help. Or should I just leave it as one of those things that are hard to explain?
