Re: Are We Afraid to Talk About The Ark Of Covenan

None may see the Ark except the Keeper of the Ark. Before the Christian dispensation, only the High Priest was allowed to see it as it is too holy for just anyone to look upon. Even in the Church, only the priest is allowed to see the representation of the Ark. The one we have in Zimbabwe- with the Rastafarian congregation- does not yet have a permanent place of residence. Even so, only a few people are allowed to see it. I consider it a priviledge to have touched the fringe of the covering.

As the Church ( orthodox) has pointed out, the Ark is seen in miracles. This I too believe, having witnessed this Power many times.

I would suggest you read the Kebra Naghast. There are many online copies.

It should be noted that the presence of the Ark in Ethiopia points to the Imperial House as the heirs to the Promise of God to David. This is important at this point in time when other people have sought to steal this symbol for themselves. You have some masonic orders in the UK making the wild claim that Queen Liz is descended from King David. You have the Merovingian families going even further by claiming descent from Jesus himself. Yet none of these people have the Ark.

To appreciate the significance of the Ark, one has to return to the Hebraic-Judaeo-Christian foundation of Rastafari. Am I assuming that it is in the light of current discussion on the topic on this board that you brought up the subject of the Ark?
