I don't know anything about CURE except what was posted here.

As a general principle which was proposed to me and which makes all the sense, whites should contribute beyond what they need to survive to conscious blacks who are working to redress these historical wrongs, whether through education, grassroots actvities, or other means.

What I find is the hardest for whites to accept is that they are not going to be the ones at the forefront of change or cure, but have to get out of the way and allow the worst victims to lead the rest of us out of this mess of white supremacy. Many don't get, the G8 being the most blatant example, that deciding you're now going to 'heal Africa' after centuries of wounding her just highlights the terrible arrogance that caused the wicked behavior in the first place. Not that the g8 is even legitimately interested in the 'improvement' of Africa anyway.

Whites have nothing to say to the world today. Even thir well-intentioned actvities can't work. There is such a thing as moral exhaustion and bankruptcy, and through its actions, the white west is in that position.

I would hope that CURE has aligned itself with black groups calling for reparations.
