at the same time that the black person is despised, the imagery of the commodified urban black image is one of the most potent marketing tools of the western world.
there is indeed a "exotic" factor added into the psyche of the dominant consumer culture of America - where black ones can be desired as a symbol of the hippest in social capital by white ones. i think this is a reality. the degenerate image that is pumped into the brains of America of the delinguint black youth only interested in materialist ambitions serves the dual purpose of the white supremacist system as both a vehicle for marketing and selling of products and also as a pariah and scapegoat to be pointed at as an excuse for more fascist law and order.
