indeed this would seem to be the fundamental point here, a sort of all roads leading to rome perspective (only it is not really rome that the roads lead to...)
For black people to achieve true emancipation and feedom from downpression it will take a shift in conciousness that would also see the freedom of women, native americans, the indigenous folk of my own land etc. I dont belive that it is ultimately productive or sensible to seperate out these aspects of reality.
Of course on sites such as this it is just and right that the struggle for black emancipation is the focus and cheif topic of conversation. But behind this is a broader reality from which these questions cannot be separated, i the same sense that the rasta trod cannot be separated from other similar efforts to achieve mystic insight.
