Far from it. Those who can't read are also not using the internet. However, based on the level of historical knowledge revelaed in the reasoning, I could tell that those who are participating, particularly on this thread about creation, are well read and therefore, represent tremendous brain power. So the "everyone" in my statement was reffering to the posters who are demonstrating that they are well-read. What will it take to get this brain power working together to craft a good plan of action?

I am an advocate for education. I am also an advacote for reversing Africa's brain drain, Repatriation, regular Nyahbinghi chanting as a mechanism for both, and more.

I just wonder what would happen if the brain power that is demonstrated by this message forum were applied to SPECIFIC MEASURABLE COURSES OF ACTION, what would be the result? What would be achieved?

The I comment about patience is well-noted. Many others have counseled "patience" as well when confronted with the intensity and urgency of the challenges I present.

How about an honorable compromise: I suggest that patience will emerge when it is seen that enough brain power is working on the solutions and is being applied to SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE COURSES OF ACTION. Only then will the sense of urgency be abated by a foundation of reasonable expectation that I&I are in fact using I&I god-given talents towards results.

Otherwise, there is such a thing as lost opportunity -- just consider HIM 1954 visit and Repatriation offer -- the best I&I ever had (free transportation, house rent-free, competitive salary, 3-months paind vacation, return flights to and from US-Ethiopia-- all provided by HIM). Without urgent advocacy, and effective action, there is such a thing as too-late . . . .
