Ayinde posted a while back about this brother, here is an update. Veronza Bowers is a former Black Panther and Rastaman who has been in prison for over 30 years, he was supposed to be paroled months ago after completing his maximum sentence, but the parole was denied. His new parole date is set for May of this year. However before this comes into effect it must be approved by all five members of a Bush-appointed parole commission. Normally such decisions are made by only one member of the commission, but in this case officials insisted it be approved by all five. This is unprecedented.
