seen. i posted the link because this is an example of a white organization claiming to be taking up the duty of organizing for another black focussed issue (i.e. reparations.)
i think a critique of its organization by black voices is necessary so that any kind of movement by whites towards the goals of repatriation can be more properly undertaken. for example, perhaps some feel that it is better for whites to assist black run organizations than to form their own. reason being that an organization of whites working on black issues can in many ways miss the mark. what can wind up happening is that white people just use the organization to feel good about themselves and the real issues are left aside without proper black input and ongoing communication and direction.
