Re: Confirm this for I please

“mi nuh really care if one 'look' white or 'look' black, di fact remain, if yuh are biracial or multiracial it is what it is.”- kaya IsesaJah

Well I find this very odd. By this token then some one who is dark skinned and black can claim to be white because a parent or grandparent or whatever was white, regardless of how they physically look to the casual observer? Well whites certainly have the luxury of claiming to have black heritage or whatever heritage they feel, when it suits their purposes, but I am crystal clear on the fact a black person would not be able to do the same. You appear to be distorting reality here.

“As far as wha mi mean by 'pretty', mi ask it to a man who jus finish asking mi if mi 'white', whan him allready know mi heritage, as mi stated lang ago, on dis same board, an mi nuh hide nothing” - kaya IsesaJah

Well from your explanation here I still really don’t see what the physical appearance of your biological children or Ayinde’s opinion on that really has to do with the fact that he asked whether you were the white female in the picture. I still do not get what you were getting at by asking if your children were ‘pretty’

The picture is plain to see. There is an obviously black male, two obviously mixed race children and a white female. Racism does not play out based on genetic testing or the exhaustive tracing of ones family tree, it plays out by basic casual appearances
