this SURELY will NOT take away from the importance of Kwanzaa, BUT Gman, do u havemore information on this what u said:
"However- and I don't mean to cause contention here, just to point something out- many people do have problems with the guy who invented Kwaanza, Karenga. His organization "US" (United Slaves) fought against the Black Panther Party for Self Defense which in my opinion was the best and truest expression of African miltancy in amerikkka at that time. Many feel that he allowed himself to be used by the gov't to fight against the Panthers.
Of course this does not take away from Kwaanza being a good thing. I just thought I would point that out".
