Re: The other aspect of Pan-African

Baba Marcus, you can reprimand me all you want but if you are not a continental African you really don’t have a clue about the pain I feel. It is profound, it is brutal, it a deep rooted hurt that can destroy the mind.. I am expressing my true feelings so you can achieve to understand.

I agree, black people worldwide are being enslaved or oppressed. Although looking at the overall worldwide black situation, Africa is the WORSE… What I'm talking about is centuries of horrific wars, famines, genocides and cannibalism which Diaspora pays NO attention just because the mainstreams press is racist…There is NO similarity in situations how can I seriously hope to see any change?

I am weary watching my own people being slaughtered daily by other African groups who are in league with the Euro-Americans. I can’t avoid my anger anymore, after all the suffering Congolese people have been enduring since 1885 the time the barbaric Belgian King Leopold II took over our lands. Why should we always avoid our anger?

Some of my friends are Diasporians and have concern for my people and their own people, but they identify with their problems first, so what are my options? Believe me, I do not argue with anyone on this board to disunite with conscients Diasporian folks, or waste my time. But I think it's important to mention the no interest of Diasporans in African countries. The bulk of the Diaporans are ignoring the world bloodiest wars ongoing in Central Africa, this is leaving a deep bitterness on the conscience of all Congolese patriots. I have become aloof for the romantic dream of the great African unity... Why? Because there is nothing going on there...
