i would think it has something to do with one's interpretation of the word "god" then. i think we could argue that the divine essence of the INIverse is genderless - and some would call this "god." I think in the earthly realms though, it is obvious that creation manifests from the exchange of opposites, like male and female. It is not hard to imagine that certain people placed an emphasis on the motherly aspect, while others placed an emphasis on the fatherly aspect - and i would bet that the emphasis has something to do initially with the roles that are deemed most important to the society. religion is merely reflective of a human understanding of physical surroundings and observations.
male and female, reflecting in god and goddess are ALWAYS present, whether ones want to acknowledge both of them or not. if one is given predominance with exlusion to the other, the other still exists and although repressed still exerts a strong hidden influence. it is in I and I best interest to big up both King Alpha and Queen Omega as equal co-regents of InI Earth. Balance, not HOMOsexualism.
