I would have thought that this post from Ras Marcus would be very simple for ones to overstand and agree with. Instead I see several replies defending white people's "right to repatriate" as it were. Come on now. People of any color should be free to travel anywhere and settle anywhere WHERE THEY ARE WELCOMED BY THE LOCAL PEOPLE and WHERE THEY INTEND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELLBEING OF THE LOCAL PEOPLE INSTEAD OF EXPLOITING THEM. Do we really need a history lesson to explain why many Africans are not going to be quick to trust whites to act in this way. If white people want to go to Africa it should be SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE LOCAL PEOPLE and they should go UNDER THEIR OWN STEAM AND WITH THEIR OWN MONEY. Personally I leery of white people relocating to Africa at all, but that is up to Africans from the continent to decide who is welcome and who isn't. But NO WAY should whites be considered part of the repatriation movement or benefit from any funds raised for repatriation, as Ayinde pointed out in another post. I might have agreed with Rasi and others that this was a bit of a "non-issue" but from what I seeing of some Rastas' attitudes on this, it is an issue.
The messed up thing is it is easier for many whites to relocate to Africa, and buy up land there and make money and ting, than it is for us African descendants.
