Re: Rasta use of the bible
In Response To: Re: Rasta use of the bible ()

"As to the comment about being Rastafari, not all of us sight HIM as the Almighty. Selassie is central to our belief system, but the role he plays is easily debatable, even among us."

There is nothing debatable about Haile Selassie he has been, and "Is" the God&king of the Rastafari movement from the beginning when Marcus Garvey. Now people are introducing the idea that Haile Selassie is something seperate from Rastafari, ones are trying to seperate the God from Rastafari. One of Rastafari's causes is the Liberation of our precious Mother Afrika, let the naked be clothed, the hungry be fed, the sick be nourished, but like I have mentioned earlier what makes the Rastafari movement so unique is Our God & King Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie 1st. Now I agree that His Majesty was not the only Spritiual leader that the Most High has blessed us with, we can learn from a lot of peoples & cultures, but Haile Selassie I is the Blackmans God&King, So when ones try and seperate the Emperor from Rastafari the movement is not Rastafari anymore.

if ones want be part of a movement like Rastafari, that deals with Afrikan Liberation but does not want to sight Haile Selassie as a significant leader, or God, or King then maybe you should become part of some other movement like the Black Panthers, or some other Afrikan Liberation Orginization, Because the Head of Rastafari always was, is, & always will be Haile Selassie the Afrikan/Ithiopian(AFRIKA)

Haile Selassie glorified in this "BIBLE" so when ones want to come in the name of "Rastafari" but yet contradict what His Majesty has set for us then we have pure con-fusion.
