Yes, I as a black african know that Garveys concepts can never be taken out of Rastafari but what we sometimes fail to see is that Haile Sellassie welcomed all people into ethiopia(not to run africa, but to help build africa) So I know that it could never be wrong for a person of non blackskin to want to help build and defend InI glorious Land.
Ras Marcus grew in the original Nyahbhingi days, with the original Rastafari teachings but here come 2004 his views, ideas, beliefs changed from those days, changed with time, same way Rastafari has changed from those days, now we see different branches of Rastafari, ie Twelve Tribes, Boboshanti, etc. The teachings that were so edyfing for Ras Marcus back in those days are not necessarily the case anymore, Same with Rastafari. So when ones come and instruct me not to tell ones and ones about our glorious Land & King I cannot do that. I will never stop tell the world about Afrika and all Her Glory, and if ones(who are not necessarily of black skin) want to come help build & defend Her then Rally Round.
Selassie The First
