Greetings.
I overs the point. And while I see that it is beneficial to see the patterns in religions that lead to conditions as they are today in hindsight - I think also that it is really hard to determine what are all the contributing factors to the mess that we find ourselves in today - ESPECIALLY with the bias of the resources we have to research from. That is why I think sometimes a fixation on an aspect tends to blind one to other factors involved in the full process. From what I have found - I can see the truth within the scriptures and can ALSO see areas where there is a definite co-opting of older stories into the fabric of what many take to be unique - the truth presented on a silver platter of lies.
I for one think this is a HUGE problem because this tends to lend to the idea of Judeo-Christian supremacist mindset - for if one thinks that what they have is unique and not possessed by others, the line to be crossed to get into the realms of ARROGANCE is extremely fine. In the end it is really just serving a political motivation for not JUST power, but DOMINATION.
