In a way you have a point here, cos there is Africa Speaks and there is Rastafari Speaks, yet there does SEEM to be a bit of bias on the part of the people who moderate both boards, in that even on the Rastafari Speaks board, 'traditional' Rastafari people SEEM to be being held to stricter standards of conduct etc, than some who are more in line with the admin's views. I refer specifically to the Bantu Kelani/Priest Asukile Adigun Adofo interchange, and yes Ayinde I realize that there may be more going on behind the scenes that I am not aware of, but if I am unaware of it, how can I take it into consideration?
Anyway that's where the legitimacy of your point ends, the people running here really have as much right to promote what they see as Rastafari, as any Binghi man or Twelve Tribes member on their message boards. If you were to go to a Twelve Tribes board and didn't know about Rasta, you would leave with the impression that Rasta is a sect of Christianity. Go to a Bobo board, you could leave with the impression that Rastas in general revere Idi Amin as an incarnation of Marcus Garvey.
And certainly if you were to visit many ('traditional') Rastafari people who I know in real life, you as a 'white seeker' would indeed get the impression that you couldn't 'forward to Africa' (or at the very least that you could not REPATRIATE to Africa, since the RE in REPATRIATE implies that you are from there in the first place) etc. etc.
