People can think of themselves whatever they want but as myself I don't personally think I am Rastafarian. Today, I have a new perspective regarding this issue. I said in previous posts that IMO compared to traditional African religions, Rastafari doesn’t listen equals, respect and recognize the mystery of the indigenous African world or the knowledge of the ancestors. Rastafari experience many aspects of Biblicism of the colonial masters. Its tends to reduce the beingness of the Primal Divine Consciousness in a patriarchal human figure, that’s a bit selfish for "me". Since I tend to be a bit informed of the entire range of traditional African religions, the study of philosophy, metaphysics and the science of physics, I think I am able to satisfy myself better mentally, physically, and intellectually with the ancestors themselves and their gifts to be delivered to the world to maintain balance within my own psyche.. Therefore, today I don't personally think I am anything but a knowledge seeker of the African ancestral altars.
