Re: African Freedom and Male Arrogance

Pianke Nubiyang: Based on the plight of Black American males today, it is the system of matriarchy that is a danger to Black survival and NOT ANY BLACK MALE PATRIARCHY.
The system of white supremacy in America has totally flipped the script. Patriarchy in white, Arab, Asian and even African societies today, especially those that follow certain types of religions has and continues to oppress women.
However, since 1619's, the system of slavery and white supremacy has found that 'castration' of the Black male slave and developing a male that was weak, dependent on women and cowardly was good for "economy" (as Willy Lynch put it).
Feminism has done unspeakable damage to the Black family in America and the world. Let's just talk about the millions of Black babies that they have conspired to destroy. Let's talk about the subliminal hatred for Black males that some women have in which Black males are deliberately raised to self-destruct. The keeping of fathers from the family is one way that the feminists (and the slave masters) realized that they would maintain domination and control of the Black family and Black woman and children.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Firstly there is no willie lynch program per se. There also are strong doubts as to the authenticity of the willie lynch letter. Quite understandably, may just have been used to to show Black people certain things.
Secondly, let us be clear on certain points to avoid confusion and going around in circles. There is no system of matriarchy present in the Black societies in the New World (America/Caribbean etc). Since the start of colonialism and slavery, Europeans operated by and instituted a system that was heavily patriarchal (male dominated). Therefore, since the society has been male dominated right from the inception, then this is a more likely cause for the problems that are facing us, than the so called Black femininism that is relatively new, and not all that popular. It is important to understand that it is white males that have shaped the system that we currently exist in, and therefore there is not only the white bias but also the male bias that is embedded in the very institutions and social processes.
The weakness of the African male has come about not because of any subscription to matriarchy, but because they have followed the bogus, sexist patterns of Europeans who have controlled information, education and media. They are weak because their false notions of male superiority and accompanying female inferiority along with the general miseducation have weakened them.
Black families were being damaged by white arrogance and Black male arrogance hundreds of years before there was any concept of feminism. In keeping with the best examples that I have presently, I would shy away from labeling the attempts and needs for Black women to define themselves and battle Black male arrogance as feminism.
Pianke Nubiyang: BLACK MATRIARCHY AND THE PRESENT FAMILY SETUP BENEFITS BLACK WOMEN
The present family setup where over seventy percent of Black families are headed by single women benefits Black women and girls. Black women gain financially because in America, the system of white supremacy (and white male and female chauvanism) has developed a paradigm whereby the Black women is pushed to be "independent" and unneeding of the Black man. Hence, Black girls are raised in the same manner and are trained to be successful, aggressive and in some ways cold and materialistic. That is the result of males being left out of the home through conspiracy.
On the other hand, many Black males raised in single parent homes dominated by women and exposed to the constant blasting of males, the constant put-downs of males and the constant insulting of their fathers develop anti-male characteristics and in some cases many go as far as thinking they are women.
Why else would so many Black males raised by single mothers (in the US) develop effeminate habits and go towards homosexuality if it had nothing to do with their constant exposure to the female "spirit" during youth till their late teenage years?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The pattern of single parent homes headed by women is not a sign of matriarchy or female chauvinism. It is often because the males have neglected their parental responsibilities, and therefore do not contribute towards the upbringing on their children. I hardly think that any female would chose to work, take care of the child and the house, cook in the name of being independent or ‘not needing a man’. Males neglecting their fatherly duties is largely a function of slavery where males were used as studs to impregnate females, and switched around from plantation to plantation, without being given an opportunity to contribute towards the family. This pattern of single parenting is thus not a function of ‘matriarchy’, but rather because of the fact that both male and females have been conditioned and brainwashed by a white male dominated order
Furthermore, coming to terms with the reality that this system is male dominated as much as it Eurocentric, does not negate the importance or role of Black males in the family. On the contrary, males coming to terms with their arrogance and abusive patterns will enable them to move more in harmony with their families and make far better choices all around. Therefore, male female balance promoted better families.

Pianke Nubiyang:
Hence, the Black male in America has to deal with white supremacy and racism, black male fracticide and female oppression and chauvanism. This phenomena is also found in other societies where an oppressor group has used the women of the oppressed to keep the males weak and self-destructive. This has led to severe drinking problems among the males, violence and other forms of self-destruction.
Statistics clearly show that the manner in which some Black women raise Black men is detrimental to their survival in a world that is hostile to the Black male. Black males in many parts of the United States are raised to be nothing but fodder for the pris. industrial complex and it is some of their mothers who prepare and program them for this system of neo-slavery because these mothers sank for the old racist and genocidal idea that the fathers of these males were to be discarded.
Meanwhile, these mothers had no negative psychological influence on their daughters due to the absense of the fathers because daughters have mothers, aunts, grandmothers and female teachers to follow as role models. Black males and males in general simply cannot use ONLY FEMALES AS THEIR MODEL FOR GROWTH, CULTURE AND DEVELOPMENT. THERE IS A MALE CULTURE THAT YOUNG MEN MUST BE TAUGHT IN ORDER TO CARRY ON THE CULTURE OF MALENESS THAT IS ESSENTIAL TO ANY SOCIETY.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your claim of female oppression and chauvinism is every bit as fraudulent as those whites that claim to be oppressed by Blacks. This is a Eurocentric male dominated society that promoted male superiority as much as it does white superiority
Clearly, many females have internalized bogus ideas just from existing in this Eurocentric society, but to blame them in light of how many males deny and abandon their children is to blame females for something that is not their fault. Perhaps you should talk to some single female parents and learn of some of the circumstances that resulted in them having to raise children on their own.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pianke Nubiyang: This talk about "abuse" in the family as an excuse to maintain the same slave-master developed family system is nothing but a tricky excuse. Feminists use talk of "abuse" as if 100 percent of Black families is nothing but violent male on female attacks occurs in Black families. Most families are not experiencing violence and therefore, most families do not need to discard the Black father in order to follow the program of white supremacy and slavery of the Black male
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``

Well by your definition few Africans worldwide are experiencing abuse. This is far from reality. Abuse is far more than physical violence. The abuse that is perpetuated towards Black and females is about emotional and psychological abuse coupled with the institutions and processes that have been created by and are more favorable to Whites and males. The notions of Black/female inferiority and White/male superiority has become imbedded at the very core of society, it permeates all the constructs that Blacks, Whites, males, females operate by. In other words it has been internalized by both the perpetuator and the receiver, and shackles them both, though the receiver gets the worse end of the stick. Therefore addressed the issue of female discrimination will be helpful not only to females but it will also help free males from their dangerous bogus ideas.

I have observed that many who seem to speak up for African empowerment get very defensive whenever there is talk of African women empowering themselves. Their responses remind me of the responses that White use to counter strong African voices that are seeking African empowerment. Simply substitute the word female for the word black even and it will all make sense.

This is the reason why attempts at countering European domination has been so limited. There is no fighting European domination without simultaneously struggling against female discrimination. How could anyone be advocating respect for Black people yet operating in ways that disrespect African women by denying them their right to define themselves.
Society coming to terms with the reality of itself being male dominated is not a threat or attack on the family, and it does not negate the important role of Blacks males. Rather it is about addressing the suppression of the female principle/perspective along with Black suppression that has both been a feature of global European domination.
History has shown us that a central aspect of most if not all ancient African societies has been the respect given to the women folk. Though these societies were not perfect, they present a far more equitable system of male/female relations than are currently practiced. Ancient African societies revered the female principle of the universe, realizing that there could be no balance or harmony once this was rejected or disrespected. It is the suppression and oppression of our females that is perpetuated by both male and females, that is resulting in the social ills, family problems, pollution and general ingorance.

Without first understanding how White domination and male domination has influenced behaviors and social processes, people will not be able to understand a lot of other related issues.
As the saying goes, a nation can rise no higher than the level of their women.
