I doubt shouting in posts was one of the values that Selassie passed on.
I doubt Selassie wanted people to suspend their ability to think and evaluate for themselves.
I also doubt that there is a common agreed-upon set of values that is uniquely Rastafarian.
I also doubt that one can get over racism and other forms of corruption by shouting Haile Selassie all the time, growing a dreadlocks or by simply claiming to be a Rasta. Christians who shout Jesus Christ all the time are no different.
What I am sure about is that the Rastafari movement developed with the need to address Black African issues, that spawned from Slavery, White Supremacy etc.
I am also sure that these issues have not been properly addressed.
No Black movement should be about making a safe haven for ignorant Whites.
Blacks have every reason to be more suspicious of Whites, and should challenge them on the issues.
It is one thing to be critical of Blacks who we may feel are not aware of certain things, but it is quite another thing for a Black person to be a champion for White Arrogance in a Black Movement.
Anyhow, I rarely read your comments, as I am not stressing my eyes to read posts that are written predominantly in CAPITAL LETTERS. So if you choose to continue responding that way, I may not respond.
