when i post my persona views on what is rasta (for me) people say i am trying to arrogantly dictate what others must do, say, be, to be rasta. In fact i know that there are many many rasta trods and to each their own and we are all Rasta still. I may love the bible as did Selassie, a next may literally throw it in the fire during a binghi.we are still rasta bretherin. I may eat non pork meat like Selassie a next rasta may be strictly italist, we are still rasta brethin, one rasta may drink sparingly like selassie and others may abstain totally; we are still rasta bretherin, one rasta may avoid his woman before during and after menses for the majority of the month others don't we are still rasta. Some may see Selassie as Christ in His Kingly Character, some see HIM reveal the Peronality of Christ, some see him as God(yes howard i said God) The Almighty creator of heaven and earth others as a great king of Afrika and man; still we are Rasta. Some see Prince Edddie as Christ, the 7th Adonnai(God), some see him as high priest, some see him as a spiritual man still we are brothers and sisters in Rastafari. Some smoke herbs daily, some like Marcus and I dont smoke. we are rasta still sed way. Some of us have Short hair like Selassie some long nazarite dreadlocks; we are rasta still.
