From the responses given, one would think she wants a place where she can smoke ganga in peace. But if anyone cared to read carefully, she wants a place where she can live all aspects of the Rastafarian culture without the scorn and contempt and malice that one faces from the other people. She wants a place where she does not want to have to explain everyday why she is wearing this or that, or why she believes the Emperor of Ethiopia to be God or why she won't eat or that. She wants a place where she is not the raving lunatic, dangerous criminal or amusing eccentric that we are often portrayed as.

We all would like to think of Africa as a home for Rastas. But I would beg you all to remember that Africa is so big, and we will not be able to make a home just anywhere.
