Greetings Iyah
I know what you are saying about natural livity of Rasta. The thing that gets to me is, and I am not pointing to you per say, that certain ones chant down the Bible, or anything Judeo-Christian, quick to point out the faults, as well as the human character of Haile Selassie I, or certain cultural trends in Ethiopia and those faults, but then go on to glorify Egypt and Egyptian philosophy as if it was faultless. Pharoas marrying their daughters, slavery etc...Egypt was an imperial power, and therefore privy to the faults of empires and man-made governments.
I suppose my point is: Rasta is a very simple, yet complete way of life. I get weary when ones to complicate it up and mix it up when IanI have a PERFECTLY GOOD way of life right before our eyes.
Many Blessings Iyah!
