Re: Dark-Skinned Africans???
In Response To: Dark-Skinned Africans??? ()

Greetings Ashanti Pride,

In a Black earth based movement deadicated to dealing with righting the wrongs of White Supremacy and bringing a measure of balance, informed Africans that are dark skinned are most qualified to lead. Why one may ask?

Because it is these dark skinned kinky haired AFricans that have EXPERIENCED the worse of White Supremacy. Even though all Africans may face a measure of discrimination/racism in the this system, it is these Blacks who have no light skin to allow them even to be half accepted by the White power structure. It is these Africans that are rideculed the most, even by lighter skinned Africans. So it is from this perspective of dark/kinky haired Africans experiencing the worse of the worse, that i would say that they are most qulaified to lead the struggle to bring a measure of re-balance. Through experience people can understand things fully, and so while light skinned Africans may empathise, and may have gone tru racism themselves, the system is usually willing to let them slip by, while the dark skinned AFricans have no such option, they continually feel the brunt of racism. Thus the depths of their experience would be greater than a person who does not have to face this level of racism. This is the nature of White Supremacy: WHITE OVER BROWN OVER BLACK.

This is not to say that we are trying to define who is African or Black from the shade of their skin, rather, it is about exposing the subtleties of White Supremacy so that people can better understand and work on themselves. If African people don't properly understand themselves, racism, and colorism, they can wield the whip of White Supremacy with as much damage as the white male power structure. Through understanding these issues, people can work towards alleviating them instead of the just spewing rhetoric and having no decisive action.
