1. If she percivd as what some sourthen whites call a "nigger-lover" due the African symbols she wore, then yes this is a form of racism, obviously. Maybe not based on skin color, but a coming from the same hatred. On the other hand, racism as experianced by African blacks cannot be compared to what the sister posted.
2. People strive to belong. Many people of ligh complexion or white skin who have been Rastafari for some time tend to have their worlds turned upside down when confronted by those who see ONE LOVE as a misunderstood concept, and by those who confront them with their priviledge. This may be an extension of that type of thinking. (ie. "I experiance Babylon too!" One love!)
3. I think for the same reasons I mentioned above. It is an earth shattering experiance for some who think they will be automatically accepted and trusted once they sport a selassie T shirt and can quote some Sizzla lyrics, when they are confronted with issues such as those you mentioned.
