Your words are heard; yet I would say wrong place for me would be if I found myself in the midst of their destruction. Divine guidance gives each of us the knowledge of where we MUST be and it is for each to know whether or not they will use their willpower and commonsense to get them to where they need to be.
Truly I agree, none of it is in vain; but I can not necessarily guarantee that I will acutally "mourn" the great majority of those lost.
