You are right Rootka, Fillmore was a racist. The Ham-Physical Shem-Spiritual and Japhet-Intellectual thing, well, if there were absolutely no truth in it we wouldn't be having this discussion. I thought that YOU had said that those were the different blessings of the different races. Now that would imply that Hamites have the greatest physical capacity, that Semites have the greatest spiritual capacity, and that Japhets have the greatest intellectual capacity. That was why I felt that I had to write back and refute that by saying that those are only general inclinations and NOT differences in capacity. Charles Fillmore's Metaphysical Bible Dictionary, while containing much truth, is full of racist pseudoscience, and his analyses of Ham, Shem, and Japhet most certainly reflect that. His writings should only be taken with a grain of salt and not simply believed at face value. For these few words I give thanks.
