Respecting Differences & Initing by similarities!!
In Response To: Re: unity ()

Much Love and Respect Diyouth!!!!!

I really loved reading the I post and all the responses to it. It took me a while to answer though, I've been rushing at work this days...not much time to reason here.

Anyway, I loved what you said about the truth beeing "real" in a way that can't be contested.

So many things to point...

I always think about what unites us as people and life. Unity, big topic, what is unity, unite what? who? why? What makes us together in this planet? What is division? what devides us? what separates us?

This is I perception of Rastafari: THE HEALING OF ALL NATIONS!!!!!!!!! and what does that mean? Because for something to be true, it must be true to everybody (the true is uncontestable). For I Rasta is livity. Livity is not something individual(isolated) but something solidary.

The question I would like to rise: is it necessary division for unity to exist? Would we search for unity if there wasn't for non-unity? Is division as important as unity? Because looks for me that some people think you're denying division. Do you think division will eventually cease to lead to a global unity?

Personaly, I see unity as respect: "To love GOD above all things and to love thy neighbour AS THYSELF" - this is a serious thing!!! If I can relate to people as the GODS they are, even if they can't see it, am recycling this human feeling inside of them and turning enemies into friends.

The key to this love, respect and unity is the reasoning process. But is this process to everybody? Because if I can't be humble I can't take part in a reasoning process. If one thinks he holds thruths (informations) that makes the person unflexible to compare and see things with a new feeling, it won't be able top take part in a reasoning process.

Do I make sense?

I would have a lot more to say, but I'm rushing right now. I just wanted to say how positive reading your reasonings was to I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just remembered one recent example on division/war and unity. I listen a lot people wnating to joke I saying how I look like Jesus (because of I hair and beard, mainly). I could feel unconfortable, as I heard the "tone" of the comparison, but I say: How lovely to be compared with someone like Jesus, this is nice, specially as I also work to look similar to Jesus in I ACTIONS AND THOUGHTS as in the hair and beard.

It's always possible to see how can you unity with someone, and a lot of times, we may tend to feel or think that dividing would be a lot easier and faster.

Blessed Love for the positive post in so many negative vibes!!!

I remembered an example I heard from mutabaruka in his extended reasoning in his site: the difference between an optimistic and a pessimistic person: looking a glass half filled with water: to the pessimistic the glass is already half empty, to the optimistic is still half full. the reality is the same, but how they see it...
