No need to go back and forth with you over this. You cannot change history or my knowledge of it. You can select a few comments (similar to how all 'history' comes out of the US) to paint your own picture now but there is a long history of your antagonisms that tells the rest of the story.

It also appears that we have a different take on what being respectful really means. Lying, deliberately distorting and persistently nitpicking are also disrespectful and are indicative of hostility. Just because you choose a more passive approach doesn't change your lack of respect.

To make a long story short, I do not accept your compliments because I genuinely believe that you are being insincere.
